We did lots of reading in bed, and then got up for a late breakfast. We settled down to watch some TV that we had recorded. We watched some educational stuff and some funny things like QI. It has an amazing amount of fact in there, mostly of the useless kind that Ram likes.
It was a hot afternoon and Ram doesn’t like it hot. So we just lounged around watching things that we had recorded in between having short breaks outside.
It was only in the evening that Ram came to life. We played more soil pipe baseball, and badminton until it got dark!
We also saw our first bat of the season.
We do need to be careful about the noise at night though, as the farmer next door goes to bed a 9.30, so that she can get up at 5 to milk the cows. Somehow I can’t see Ram ever getting out of bed that early!
