No, we didn't do art · Tuesday October 17, 2006 by june
Well, I wanted to do art, but the other two had other ideas. James wanted to do his accordion and Liz had started making herself a “countdown to my birthday” advent-type calendar. Which she has been busy with all day, and is art really, so it seemed silly to tell her to stop and come and do some art!
Liz also did some more of her Dr Who work – we have a deal, she works on it for half an hour each day until it’s finished. Hopefully this way it won’t seem so much of a chore. We then did some more singing with Radio 3’s ‘Music Workshop’.
James was busy writing some notes for some writing/animation work he is doing. This is his alternative to NaNoWriMo,and he will do this project whilst Liz and I are busy trying to write a novel. He then read a blenderart magazine .
On a really positive note we managed to squeeze a lot into the morning – James even did physics – which did leave us the afternoon pretty much free (even if we didn’t do art). I even did the washing up, sorted out the clean washing and washed my hair. If only all days went so smoothly.
