Granny has a broken hip and will be operated on today. She is almost 90 so home ed/Easter/care of the very young will be a challenge. Our new grandson is quite ill too.
Dh and I are going to look at a care home near where we live this afternoon, as a possiblility, though it will mean bringing granny over 200 miles away from her home ground. At least we and our elder son and his family will be able to visit more easily.
Rupert has gone out with M to her house and town and they are going to the cinema and bowling this afternoon in the next town.
Dh and I are having a house clean up before the days become very busy. I am expecting the family round on Easter Sunday for an egg hunt and Easter lunch, but it looks as though it will be a very reduced and subdued gathering.
